Internal applications

Cypress

A common foundation for useful tools.

Cypress is our platform for building internal applications. It provides common foundations for identity, design, and delivery, so a tool for one workflow can belong to a larger, familiar workspace.

Give the work a place to happen.

A dashboard helps someone understand a question. A focused application can help them act on it: check a status, work through a task, or use a tool designed around a recurring need. Cypress gives us a common place to build those experiences.

Shared corporate sign-in, visual standards, and a repeatable delivery process give each application a starting point. The team can spend more of its effort on the people using a tool and the job it needs to do.

In practice

What an application builds on.

  1. A familiar identity

Corporate sign-in gives staff a common way to enter an application using their work account.

  2. A consistent interface

Shared colors, typography, and chart foundations help tools feel related and support both light and dark appearances.

  3. A delivery path

Common build and release workflows make testing and shipping a change part of the application’s foundation.

Growing toward a staff workspace.

This public site and its staff sign-in are part of Cypress. We’re developing the staff workspace and application catalog as the family of internal tools grows. The aim is to help colleagues find the tools relevant to their work, understand what each does, and know where to go for access.

Cypress sits alongside our reporting and data platforms. Together, they connect a dependable data foundation with applications shaped around day-to-day work.
